We closed on the house in mid-July, moved our stuff in, and promptly left town- Joel to Boulder for a wedding, and me to Nashville for a wedding, but we are now pretty much settled in. My mom came out to help set things up and paint, and it now really feels like home! Since then, my parents came back out for another visit, and the Butlers came out in October. The honorable JP has been out to Colorado twice since my last blog post- for those keeping track at home, that is 4 visits in our 1.5 years in Colorado.
We are loving owning our own home, and the location of this house has inspired me to rename our blog. We live on the north side of our street which means that snow melts from our yard and driveway at least 3 times faster than our across-the-street neighbors. Colorado home buying lesson #1! I'll include some photos of the past months and hopefully keep up with the blog a bit better!
